Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid Georgia state license or eligibility (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or readiness to complete a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred, though not required
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Dedication to serving students across diverse backgrounds and age groups

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Assess and document student needs, progress, and outcomes
  • Develop individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
  • Offer consultation services and resources for staff and families to foster student success
