Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid Georgia state license or eligibility (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or readiness to complete a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in school settings preferred, though not required
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Dedication to serving students across diverse backgrounds and age groups
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Assess and document student needs, progress, and outcomes
- Develop individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication challenges
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
- Offer consultation services and resources for staff and families to foster student success
