What You’ll Need:
- Master’s degree in Speech and Communication Disorders
- Active Illinois SLP-CCC license (Clinical Certificate of Competence)
- Experience in pediatric, healthcare, or school settings preferred
- New graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
Role Snapshot:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students in grades K-12
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Manage a caseload of varying sizes with support from a collaborative special education team
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings, family conferences, and ongoing professional development
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations
