What You’ll Need:

  • Master’s degree in Speech and Communication Disorders
  • Active Illinois SLP-CCC license (Clinical Certificate of Competence)
  • Experience in pediatric, healthcare, or school settings preferred
  • New graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff

Role Snapshot:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students in grades K-12
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Manage a caseload of varying sizes with support from a collaborative special education team
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings, family conferences, and ongoing professional development
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations
