Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY supervision
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and documentation
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches for diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students referred by teachers or parents
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address identified communication disorders
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and data collection
- Provide both individual and small group therapy, in accordance with each student’s IEP goals
- Consult with families, teachers, and support staff to provide resources and strategies for generalizing communication skills in the classroom
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, progress reports, and session notes
- Support a positive, inclusive school culture through multidisciplinary collaboration
