School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Woodbridge, Virginia

Ideal candidates will bring these qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license in Virginia
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience in school-based or teletherapy settings
- Comfortable managing a caseload of 30-40 students
- Effective communicator with students, families, and school staff
- Proficiency in developing IEP goals and monitoring progress
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments, including teletherapy as needed
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Supporting IEP meetings and documenting student progress clearly and promptly
- Delivering direct therapy sessions, both in-person or virtually, based on assignment
- Consulting with educational teams to recommend classroom strategies and modifications
