Desired Skills & Experience:
- Current or in-progress Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or equivalent state licensure.
- Background in SLP services within educational settings, including in-person or teletherapy approaches.
- Experience or readiness to work across preschool through 12th grade populations.
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans based on student needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for effective collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals.
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring for students referred for speech-language services.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy into the educational environment.
- Maintain thorough documentation, ensure compliance with policies, and participate in IEP meetings as required.
- Engage in teletherapy services as needed to reach students virtually.
- Focus solely on therapy-related services during contracted hours—duties such as bus or lunch supervision are not required.
