Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification is strongly preferred
- Previous school-based experience or practicum placement is valued
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students’ speech, language, and communication difficulties
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and therapy plans
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy within school settings
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress notes
- Work collaboratively with educators and staff to support generalization of skills
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations and multidisciplinary discussions
- Educate families and teachers on strategies to facilitate communication and academic success
