Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Valid and active Florida Department of Health SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student progress

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech therapy services to elementary school students with a range of communication needs
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals tailored to each student
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement
