Pediatric School Speech Therapist - Winter Haven, Florida

Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida SLP License (required)
- ASHA CCCs or SLP-CFY status welcomed
- Experience with pediatric and school-age populations
- Willingness and ability to supervise SLPAs
- Background in Medicaid billing, IEP procedures, and AAC implementation
What You’ll Do:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and update IEPs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
- Supervise and mentor SLPA staff to foster a collaborative therapy environment
- Document treatment, progress, and Medicaid billing accurately and promptly
- Engage with families and staff to support student progress and success
- Utilize AAC strategies and technology where appropriate
This position offers highly competitive compensation between $40–$50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
