Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Speech-Language Pathology services to students from PreK through 5th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing speech, language, and communication needs.
- Utilize communication devices to support students with complex communication needs.
- Incorporate visual supports and sensory strategies to accommodate students with sensory processing challenges.
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student progress and address behavior concerns.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and school guidelines.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Florida Department of Health (FL DOH) licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required.
- Experience working with early childhood and elementary-aged students.
- Familiarity with pediatric communication devices and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools.
- Ability to manage behavior challenges appropriately and integrate visual supports for sensory needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively within a school environment.
- Commitment to full-time availability (37.5 hours per week) throughout the contract duration.
