School-Based SLP | Winter Garden, Florida
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Winter Garden, FL, supporting middle school students in grades 6 through 8. This position offers both full-time (35 hours per week) and part-time (approximately 17.5 hours per week) contract options for the current school year, ending May 29, 2026. Roles may include itinerant assignments across multiple middle schools, with schedules to be determined.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing speech and language therapy services to middle school-aged students.
- Developing individualized treatment plans to target communication challenges.
- Collaborating with teachers and school staff to support student progress.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and IEP compliance.
- Participating in team meetings and parent conferences as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or related field.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA.
- Valid Florida state license to practice as an SLP.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to manage caseloads independently and adapt to itinerant assignments if needed.
