Make an impact supporting students’ communication and academic growth for the 2026-2027 academic year! This is a rewarding contract opportunity for four skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to work full-time with a dedicated district team in North Carolina. Assignments primarily serve the East and Southern areas of the district, with a collaborative and supportive work environment. If you’re passionate about making a difference and hold a valid North Carolina SLP license, your skills will be highly valued here.
Open to both Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) and experienced SLPs with CCC credentials—district supervision is available to help you thrive as you launch or advance your school-based career. Please note, SLPA roles are not part of this opportunity.
What the ideal candidate brings:
- Current North Carolina SLP license (required)
- CCC or Clinical Fellow candidates encouraged to apply (district supervision offered)
- Recent experience or strong interest in serving students with Autism (AU) and low cognitive disabilities preferred
- Ability to commit to a full-time schedule, typically 35-37.5 hours weekly
- Enthusiasm for working collaboratively with educators and families
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide therapeutic interventions to a diverse student caseload (up to 35 students per SLP)
- Document progress, develop IEP goals, and participate in meetings
- Communicate intervention goals and strategies to staff and families
- Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Flexibility is a key focus—caseload preferences are considered, and individualized assignments will be discussed during interviews.
