Speech Language Pathologist in Winston-Salem, NC
Make a lasting difference in the lives of students by supporting communication and academic success in a dynamic educational setting. We are seeking four contract Speech-Language Pathologists to serve full-time in a supportive school environment near Winston-Salem, NC for the upcoming school year.
This opportunity welcomes both experienced SLPs with CCC credentials and Clinical Fellows (CFs). District supervision for CFs can be provided, ensuring a strong foundation for early-career professionals.
What we’re looking for:
- North Carolina state licensure (required).
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF).
- School-based experience preferred; strong consideration for those with backgrounds in Autism (AU) and low cognitive disabilities.
- Comfortable managing a caseload of up to 35 students.
- Commitment to a full-time, contract schedule (35-37.5 hours/week) from August 2026 through June 2027.
- Willingness to work in the east or southern areas of the district.
- No SLPA applications accepted for this role.
What you’ll do:
- Provide exceptional speech and language therapy services to students PreK-12.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Complete evaluations and contribute to eligibility meetings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
