This role is based near the dynamic Lexington, NC area, with most placements concentrated in the welcoming communities of the eastern and southern parts of Davidson County. Qualifications:
- Active NC licensure as an SLP (SLP-CF accepted; district supervision available)
- Experience (preferred) with autism and low cognitive disabilities in school settings
- Ability to commit to a full-time schedule (35–37.5 hours/week) for the school year: 8/12/26–6/11/27
- Willingness to discuss and manage a caseload of up to 35 students
- SLPA credentials not accepted for this assignment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to students as part of a collaborative educational team
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough documentation and communicate regularly with teachers and families
- Engage in ongoing professional growth through district-provided supervision and support
