Qualifications the ideal candidate will bring:
- Current Speech Language Pathologist license for Washington State and ESA certification
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and SLP-CCC candidates are welcome
- Experience or strong interest in school-based or pediatric SLP work
- Familiarity with IEP processes, evaluations, and developing treatment plans
- Comfort with a range of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering progress and inclusion for diverse student populations
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech, language, and communication assessments
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
- Collaborating closely with teachers, support staff, and families
- Keeping thorough records and documenting student progress
- Participating in IEP meetings and sharing expert recommendations
- Supporting a positive, inclusive, and communicative school environment
