School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Putney, Vermont

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure as an SLP, or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, though strong clinical backgrounds also considered
- Proficiency in assessment, intervention planning, and documentation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for working with children and adolescents of diverse backgrounds and needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address identified challenges
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support students’ communication goals
- Maintain organized records and prepare required documentation in adherence with district and legal standards
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings as a key member of the educational team
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
