Qualifications:
- SLPs must hold ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or a valid state license.
- SLPAs should have proper certification and relevant school-based experience.
- Experience with school-age populations, especially PreK–12th grade.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to create and implement individualized goals and therapy plans.
- Candidates must be able to confirm their ability to commute to the Winamac, IN area.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services and interventions to students across PreK–12th grade.
- Evaluate students for speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain thorough documentation on student progress and services provided.
- Consult with teachers, families, and staff to support student communication needs in the classroom.
- Contribute to RTI/MTSS processes as required.
