Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active and current SLP license valid in North Carolina
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) accepted
- Experience working with elementary, middle, and/or high school students preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team
- Competency in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a variety of communication disorders
- Comfortable with IEP processes and special education documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services across assigned grade levels
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain clear and timely records, progress reports, and compliance with district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to planning as an expert resource
- Engage in ongoing professional development and adapt to evolving school needs
