Ideal candidates will bring:
- A valid and active Speech-Language Pathology license for schools
- Previous experience as an SLP in a school-based setting—preferably with high school students
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- The ability to adapt to varied student needs and develop targeted therapy plans
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to a high school caseload
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with students, families, and school staff
- Conducting assessments and maintaining accurate documentation of student progress
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing as an active member of the multidisciplinary team
- Supporting and educating teachers, staff, and families regarding speech/language development and strategies
