This full-time, in-person contract assignment begins around November 18th and continues through March 10th, covering a maternity leave period. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in Delaware (or eligibility to obtain one prior to assignment)
- Current or eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY-SLP)
- Experience working in school settings, especially with preschool and/or kindergarten-aged children
- Background supporting students on the Autism spectrum or in inclusive classrooms is valuable
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Dedicated to fostering growth and participation for all students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to preschool and kindergarten students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with educators, paraprofessionals, and families within the Autism program and inclusion classrooms
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, track student progress, and maintain effective, timely documentation
- Provide consultation and resources to staff and families to support student success
