School Speech Language Pathologist - Willimantic, CT

Your caseload will span 6 K-8 schools and 27 high school students, providing variety and scope for both individualized and group interventions. There may also be the chance to supervise an SLPA, offering valuable leadership experience. Familiarity with CTSEDS is highly preferred, streamlining workflow and documentation within this setting.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Valid SLP - CCC credentials and eligibility to practice in Connecticut
- School-based experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Previous or current experience with CTSEDS is a plus
- Willingness to possibly supervise and mentor an SLPA
- Strong communication, collaboration, and case management abilities
- Proven adaptability when working across multiple sites or grade levels
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing comprehensive speech-language therapy for K-8 and high school students as part of the special services team
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Progress monitoring, data collection, and timely documentation (including CTSEDS if applicable)
- Collaboration with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Participation in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary planning
- Supervising an SLPA if required, including reviewing and signing documentation as needed
