School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Storrs Mansfield, Connecticut

This full-time, school-based contract role offers 37.5 hours per week throughout the full academic year, providing the opportunity to work with a wide range of ages and student needs.
This position is a great fit for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), who is passionate about helping children and adolescents achieve their communication goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP-CCC certification
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively across K-12 age groups and diverse student backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and voice screenings and evaluations
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with all required records
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise in designing targeted interventions
- Offer training and support to school staff and families on speech and language issues
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere for all students
