Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience with K-12 populations in educational settings preferred
- Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to work on-site and adapt to the needs of various age groups
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide direct speech-language services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other specialists to facilitate student learning and social success
- Document student progress and maintain clear, timely records in accordance with school policy
- Engage in parent meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development activities as needed
- Provide resources and support to staff and families to enhance communication strategies within the school community
- Manage a full-time caseload, working 37.5 hours per week during regular school hours for the entire academic year
