School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Storrs Mansfield, Connecticut

This full-time, contract opportunity (37.5 hours per week) is ideal for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) ready to make a difference for the 2026/2027 academic year. You’ll work with a diverse caseload, including 6 elementary/middle (K-8) students and 27 high school students, providing services that foster communication and academic success.
Your expertise will be valued as you deliver therapy, collaborate with educators and families, and may potentially supervise an SLPA. Experience with CTSEDS is a plus, as you’ll use this system to help manage and document student progress throughout the school year in a supportive, dynamic environment.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Active or eligible Connecticut SLP license
- School-based SLP experience preferred
- Familiarity with CTSEDS is highly desired
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability or willingness to provide supervision to an SLPA is a plus
In this role, you’ll:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students on your assigned caseload
- Evaluate, develop, and implement IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff
- Complete documentation and progress monitoring using CTSEDS
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student development
- Potentially mentor and oversee an SLPA, supporting consistent, high-quality services
