School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Wilkesboro, North Carolina

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold a current North Carolina SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- Completed master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Recent experience supporting students in a school setting strongly preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development, documentation, and progress tracking
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs
- Conduct assessments and re-evaluations to determine eligibility and progress
- Develop targeted intervention plans linked to each student’s IEP
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and offer professional guidance to staff and families
- Maintain thorough records, ensuring compliance with all district and federal regulations
- Educate teachers and parents on strategies to support student goals within the classroom and at home
