Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold an active North Carolina SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in a school setting, preferably serving diverse age groups
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and creative intervention approaches
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and other specialists
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of progress, planning, and interventions
- Provide consultation and support to educators and families to ensure student success
- Contribute to the school’s multidisciplinary team and participate in meetings as needed
