School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Millers Creek, North Carolina

Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active North Carolina SLP license (required for consideration)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Previous experience in K-12 school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services in accordance with students’ IEP goals
- Conduct thorough assessments and maintain timely documentation
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide engaging, evidence-based therapy
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, counselors, and parents
- Monitor student progress and adapt interventions as needed
- Educate staff and families on communication development and strategies
- Maintain accurate records and comply with district policies
