Desired skills and experience:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid licensure as a speech-language pathologist
- Previous experience providing speech therapy services in K-12 or elementary school preferred
- Competence in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to assigned students
- Assess, diagnose, and document speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and monitor individualized education plans in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals
- Maintain timely records of service delivery, progress, and assessment findings
