Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association preferred
- Must hold a G License from the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction
- Additional licensure from the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists is a plus
- Previous experience in school-based settings highly valued
- Strong communication, planning, and oversight skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive screening, testing, and diagnosis of students’ speech and language abilities
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct intervention, progress monitoring, and ongoing consultation for students
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with state and school requirements
- Offer guidance, resources, and support to school staff and parents regarding communication strategies
