- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association
- North Carolina Department of Public Instruction G License required
- (Optional) License from the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists
- Prior experience supporting school-aged students is desirable
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
Primary responsibilities:
- Provide screening, testing, diagnosing, and advisement related to student speech and language needs
- Develop and lead individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Maintain compliance with state and federal reporting requirements and documentation
- Oversee planning and progress tracking for students receiving speech-language services
- Serve as a collaborative consultant to teachers, school staff, and parents
- Engage actively in IEP meetings and multi-disciplinary teams
