Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students, including planning, service delivery, and progress evaluation
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and diagnostic evaluations of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and intervention strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support generalization and progress
- Deliver clear, actionable recommendations and guidance to educators and families
- Maintain detailed records of services, assessments, and consultations for each student
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA strongly preferred
- Valid G License from the NC Department of Public Instruction is mandatory
- Eligibility for licensure from the NC Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists is a plus
- Background in school-based SLP services is preferred
