Grades 6 - 8 K-5 School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Littleton, Colorado
Make a difference by supporting students across multiple grade levels as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract-to-hire role allows you to work with children from kindergarten through high school, providing vital speech and language services that support their growth and success. With a manageable caseload of 25-45 students, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while fostering strong relationships.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology certification in Colorado
- Experience working with pediatric clients, preferably in a school setting
- Comfortable providing services to students in grades K–12 (K-5, 6-8, 9-12)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Commitment to professional development and evidence-based practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students within assigned caseload
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and support staff to ensure integrated care
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
- Provide support during Professional Development days, sharing expertise and learning new strategies
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and recommendations
