Speech Language Pathologist in Westland, MI

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current, valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- At least one year of relevant school-based experience preferred
- Experience working with K-12 students across varying communication needs
- Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to student-centered interventions
- Availability for full-time onsite work (37.5 hours per week), though part-time applicants will be considered
- Candidates seeking Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF) or remote work will not be considered for this role
Responsibilities and Key Duties:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech and language disorders and create effective, individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students’ IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and comply with all state and district guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as an active, valuable member
