Key Qualifications:
- Current, valid Michigan SLP license (required)
- Hold Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience supporting K-12 students in a school-based setting
- Strong communication, documentation, and organization skills
- Must be able to work onsite—virtual/remote roles are unavailable
- SLP Clinical Fellows are not eligible for this assignment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based speech, language, and communication therapy to K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and collaborate on eligibility determination
- Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and team discussions
