School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Westfield, New York

This contract position near Westfield, NY, allows you to apply your specialized skills directly onsite, working with a diverse student population from PreK through 12th grade.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Current and active New York SLP license is required
- Demonstrated experience working in school settings as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Familiarity with PreK–12 caseloads and the ability to adapt services for a range of student needs
- Knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring is preferred
- Compliance with any district or state-mandated certifications
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students according to their individual education plans
- Conduct up to 20 sessions per week, each lasting 30 minutes
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of student progress and session outcomes
- Contribute expertise at IEP meetings and collaborate on student goals
