Speech-Language Pathologist in Feeding Hills, MA
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Feeding Hills, MA. This contract position offers flexibility with full-time or part-time availability and involves working closely with a diverse student population to address a range of speech and language needs.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports consistent with state and federal regulations
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional insights
- Monitor and adjust therapy techniques to improve outcomes continually
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- Experience working with a K-12 caseload preferred
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based assessment and intervention methods
- Ability to engage and motivate students in individual and group therapy settings
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to supporting the academic and social development of students
