Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in West Sacramento, CA
Make an impact this summer as a Speech-Language Pathologist providing essential ESY (Extended School Year) services in a student-centered environment near West Sacramento. You’ll work in person with small caseloads, focusing on direct services and make-up minutes. Your expertise will play a crucial role in students’ development as you collaborate with educational teams and families.
Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CCC-SLP credentials
- California licensure for SLP, or eligibility, with NPI and CTC required
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting (highly preferred)
- Strong assessment, therapy, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs across varying ages
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver ESY speech-language services on-site for students in a supportive educational setting
- Manage a small, manageable caseload for focused impact
- Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
- Coordinate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Accurately maintain session notes and contribute to special education documentation
- Address make-up minutes, ensuring compliance with students’ IEP requirements
