Speech Language Pathologist
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time onsite opportunities in the West Palm Beach, Florida area for the upcoming school year.
Position Details:
Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week (7 hours per day)
Caseload: Caseloads, FTE, age groups, and school assignments will vary based on district needs. Multiple school locations are available across the county and assignments are anticipated to be confirmed by June 1.
Pay Rate: Competitive, based on experience
Contract Dates: August 10, 2026 – May 27, 2027
Employment Type: W-2
Requirements:
Active Florida SLP License from the Department of Health required
Master’s degree required
SLP-CCC required
CF candidates must apply through a separate job order
SLPAs will not be considered
Must meet all Florida state and local requirements for school-based practice
Fingerprinting and credentialing requirements must be completed prior to start
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to students across assigned school sites
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines
Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student services

Additional Credentialing Information:
Fingerprints are required for both onsite and virtual candidates
Candidates with previous Florida school district fingerprints available through the AHCA Clearinghouse may qualify to transfer existing clearance status
Once cleared, candidates will apply for a JLA badge, which is typically issued within 5–7 business days
Internal video interviews will be conducted for qualified candidates prior to district submission
