Position Details:
- First opening: Coverage needed end of September through mid-December
- Second opening: Coverage required mid-November through the beginning of January
- Both positions are full-time (35 hours/week), serving students across grades K-12
Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Connecticut SLP license (upfront licensure highly preferred)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) required
- Recent experience in a school-based setting working with K-12 students
- Willingness to work onsite—remote opportunities are not available for these assignments
- District fingerprinting and successful background check mandatory prior to start
- SLPAs are not eligible; only CCCs will be considered
- Ready to complete a Zoom interview as part of the selection process
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students based on IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide consultative support as needed
