Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in an educational setting near West Hartford, CT. Three onsite positions are available across vibrant school communities for the fall semester. Each SLP-CCC assignment is structured for the following dates:
- Green-Hills PreK: August 24, 2026 – November 13, 2026
- Chippens Hill Middle School: August 27, 2026 – End of November
- Mountain View: August 27, 2026 – November 23, 2026
Qualifications:
- Hold current SLP-CCC credentials with active Connecticut licensure
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff
- Proficient in conducting thorough assessments and creating effective intervention plans
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads and required documentation
- Passion for supporting students’ communication, language, and social skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy for PreK–Middle School students onsite
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, progress monitoring, and data collection
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
- Collaborate with teachers and families to ensure student progress and successful outcomes
