Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut SLP License required
- Consideration given to ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
- Expertise in speech therapy within a school-based setting is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience managing either specialized or elementary caseloads preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations
- Develop individualized therapeutic plans tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
- Complete documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations on student progress
