Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut SLP License is required
- Holds or is eligible for the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly desired
- Skills in assessment, individualized education planning, and therapy implementation
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Passion for student-centered, collaborative interventions
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication therapy to students, individually and in groups
- Conduct evaluations and develop data-driven, effective treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and document progress
- Collaborate with educators, families, and team members to facilitate student success
- Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding communication disorders and interventions
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and federal regulations
