Ideal candidates should possess the knowledge and skill set to provide comprehensive speech and language services for diverse K-12 student populations. Whether holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or currently completing the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), your expertise will play a vital role in students’ progress.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current (or eligible) state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience or strong interest in serving school-aged children
- Understanding of IEPs and the special education process
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff
- Conduct screenings and progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Provide consultative services, resources, and strategies for educators and families
- Participate in IEP and team meetings as needed
