Qualifications & Experience:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Active Connecticut SLP-CCC license in good standing
- Background in school-based SLP services, including direct therapy, IEP participation, and evaluations
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Experience supporting diverse student populations across different grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students at one of three school sites: Green-Hills PreK, Chippens Hill Middle School, or Mountain View
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized intervention plans, and track student progress
- Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to foster student success
- Document therapy sessions and contribute to IEP meetings and reports
- Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
