Exciting opportunity available for a talented Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a dynamic school environment near the Columbia, Lexington, and Irmo regions! Beginning this February, the contract offers flexibility for both part-time and full-time professionals, making it an ideal fit for candidates seeking tailored weekly schedules ranging from 15 to 37.5 hours. Serve either one school or more, with assignments structured to provide support and development for students throughout the school year until the end of the academic calendar.

This position welcomes passionate SLPs, including clinical fellows with prior school-based experience who are eager to further their careers in student-centered settings. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in South Carolina
  • Preferred: Previous school-based experience or related pediatric background
  • Open to Clinical Fellows with prior experience in schools
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to independently manage caseloads and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement tailored interventions
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to promote student development
  • Maintain accurate, timely records and participate in team meetings
  • Engage in scheduled therapy sessions on-site as assigned
