Essential Qualifications:
- Active and valid Florida SLP license required
- Prior experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language assessment and intervention strategies
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, students, and families
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings, as well as comprehensive assessments for students referred by teachers or families
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to elementary students
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and progress monitoring
- Participate in multi-disciplinary IEP meetings and assist with the creation of supportive classroom strategies
- Offer guidance and training to teachers and parents regarding student communication needs
