Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be considered
- Knowledge of school-based assessment, intervention strategies, and IEP processes
- Ability to collaborate confidently with teachers, staff, and families
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy sessions to meet each student’s goals
- Participate actively in multi-disciplinary teams and IEP meetings
- Consult with educators and parents to support classroom communication strategies
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school policies and state guidelines
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture by supporting students’ communication needs
