Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license in Texas, or eligibility to obtain
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, with ability to complete evaluations in both languages
- Prior experience working with pediatric, school-aged children (K-5) preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites as an itinerant clinician
Core Responsibilities:
- Administer speech and language evaluations for school-aged children (K-5)
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on assessment outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other multidisciplinary team members to support student progress
- Complete documentation and report writing—some of which may be performed remotely
- Travel between school sites locally as an itinerant SLP
- Maintain up-to-date records and comply with all district, state, and federal guidelines
