Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Texas SLP License issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (preferred)
- Experience working with pediatric populations across K–12 (grades K–5, 6–8, and 9–12)
- Background in both assessment and intervention planning within a school environment
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students in grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support educational goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations and insights
- Deliver both direct and consultative therapy services
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students of varying backgrounds and needs
