Qualifications & Desired Skills:
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Experience working in school settings, supporting elementary and middle school populations
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and educational teams
- Ability to work onsite daily; remote or virtual placements are not an option for this position
- Organizational skills to manage a dynamic caseload and documentation
Key Duties:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and individualized speech-language therapy sessions for elementary and middle school students
- Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to each student’s needs and IEP goals
- Engage positively with teachers, staff, and families regarding student progress and strategies
- Maintain accurate records and contribute actively to IEP meetings and educational planning
- Foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth
