As a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll use your expertise to foster growth and help students achieve their academic goals. This rewarding contract opportunity offers you the chance to work in-person, collaborating closely with educators and families throughout the school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Valid Illinois SLP license, or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Experience working with school-aged students preferred
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to providing services fully on-site
Role Highlights:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to assigned caseload, following IEPs and state guidelines
- Assess, screen, and diagnose speech-language disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Document progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Provide support and education to teachers and families regarding communication strategies
- Engage in ongoing professional development activities
