A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-12 students in Wauconda, IL, starting ideally on April 6th through May 28th, 2026. This role offers the flexibility of working 2-3 days per week within a school setting, providing critical speech and language services to pediatric populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for students with speech and language disorders.
- Deliver services in both direct and teletherapy formats as needed.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding speech therapy in schools.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Illinois State License to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, preferably in school or healthcare settings.
- Skills in teletherapy are highly valued.
- Available for interviews next week.
