Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Watkins, CO
Step into an impactful role supporting K-8 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist through the end of the school year. This contract position is based onsite for 20 hours per week, offering the opportunity to make a difference in a school environment focused on student growth and well-being.
As part of a collaborative team, you’ll work side-by-side with Special Education Teachers to plan daily schedules, coordinate testing, and organize annual IEP meetings. Keeping accurate caseload records and providing timely updates to the Special Education Teacher will be essential. Your clinical expertise will help deliver tailored instruction, meeting each child’s communication needs through resource, inclusion, or pullout services. Regular interaction with families and staff ensures that every student’s IEP goals are on track and supports a strong partnership in student success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Experience with at-risk or special education students is preferred
- CCC, CFY, healthcare, and pediatric experience desirable
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Special Education Teachers on scheduling, interventions, and IEP processes
- Maintain accurate, updated speech and language caseload lists
- Deliver individualized speech/language services in a variety of settings
- Support progress towards IEP goals through family and staff communication
