Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Wisconsin
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Current DPI teacher certification
- Previous experience in a school-based SLP role preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language interventions to students with diverse needs
- Conduct assessments to identify communication strengths and challenges
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Document services provided and maintain student records in compliance with district and federal regulations
- Offer consultations and strategies to classroom staff for generalization of skills
- Participate in IEP meetings, team planning sessions, and professional development
