Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Waterbury, CT
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant Connecticut educational setting. Two full-time positions are available, each covering a maternity leave period. The first position is set to begin at the end of September and will conclude in mid-December. The second role is scheduled to start mid-November, wrapping up at the beginning of January. Both roles offer the chance to make a meaningful impact, working onsite for 35 hours each week.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, active CT SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Prior school-based SLP experience essential
- Experience with K-12 student caseloads
- Ability to work onsite; teletherapy not available
- Open only to SLPs with CCCs—SLPAs not considered
- Must complete district fingerprinting and background check
- Available for a Zoom interview
- Immediate licensure in hand is highly beneficial
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to K-12 students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Complete evaluations, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to planning
- Offer professional insight to enhance student communication success
